iRacing Pit Stop Tactics Dashboard (v0.4)

The dashboard represents iRacing blackbox information about your upcoming pit stop:

  • Amount of adding fuel and fueling status
  • Tires pressure and replacement status
  • Windshield cleaning up status
  • Fast repairing status and remaining quantity of it

What's new in version 0.4:

  • Added additional touch buttons for different fueling
  • Fixed issues with Gallons and PSI values

What's new in version 0.3:

  • Filled left-bottom corner: it shows steering wheel angle when you are stopped and shows clock when you are driving or waiting in the garage.
  • Tires replacement status: added support of oval races

What's new in version 0.2:

  • Redesigned for touch screens
  • Added support of English (US) units

Required iRacing Extra Properties Plugin for SimHub: Romainrob’s collection – Dashboard Templates – SimHub Forum (simhubdash.com)

Is this touch enabled, for devices like USBD480 with touch screen?

Amazing idea, and it would be absolutely killer on my USBD480 that currently just displays system info if I could reach and touch to toggle tires/fuel on and off instead of using the F-keys!

It isn't. I have no touch-supported device even for testing.

I think you can modify the dashboard: add big (to easier touch them) transparent boxes above the green circles. And bind simulating some keyboard buttons to them.

v0.3 update:

In my experience sometimes it's difficult to realize the current steering wheel angle before the start of a race. Is it straight or at 360 degree angle? I used to check it on the wheel-base driver.

The dashboard has the free space on the left-bottom corner. So I put there a steering-wheel angle. It shows when you're stopped. It useful only before the start so another time it only shows the clock.

Also added support of oval races for tires replacement status.

How do I convert the fuel and PSI calculations? I'm currently showing 70.8 Gallons and 200PSI.

- Thanks!

@cattabolic

You should do 2 steps:

1. Set the units in iRacing. Options — Option — Misc — Units

2. Set the same units in SimHub. Settings — General — Preferred units

I hope you don't mind me tinkering with it. I have converted the outputs to Gallons and PSI. They only quirk it that the -/+ buttons add or subtract 1.7 gallons at a time.

@cattabolic I didn't understand what you meant at first. Thanks for pointing out the problem. I've fixed it in the current version.

About 1.7G: it depends on the series/class. It seems in oval racing 1.7 is just the minimum amount of fueling. And because of that there are some troubles with hot keys for fueling in road and oval. You can't use the same. Anyway, I've split the buttons. So it's possible and useful in any race now.

Very nice display. Unfortunately the touch option is not working. Although RSC iRacing Extra Properties installed and activated nothing happens. Do you have any clue? Do I need to configure anything else to make it work?

@donutz What device are you using?

Check the dash by opening it in browser on pc (use mouse to click) or in browser on mobile phone (use touch there)

Thanks a lot for your reply. I already found my mistake. „T“ was not configured as shortcut for text chat. Touch buttons are working fine now. 🙂
