Have all the latest version, and yes I get the message about ask and click ok
have it on a iPad, as second screen
Now see the dashboard, but when want to click a button the mouse is functioning. So I can look around in the cabin.
Sorry, I don't fully understand. I think you said that you can see the dashboard on your ipad, but I don't know what you mean by 'but when want to click a button the mouse is functioning. So I can look around in the cabin’?
When I want to use a button on the dashboard, the mouse is active.
I can look around in the cabine, so the buttons don’t work. It’s like a mouse pad and not a button box.
hope you understand now
Thanks. I think I understand but I'm not sure why you're having this behaviour.
Does this happen for every button on the dashboard that you press or just some of them?
Does this happen if you touch the general surface of the ipad screen, or is the behaviour confined to button presses?
Are you using ATS or ETS2?
Have you modified keyboard shortcuts in the sim?
Are you using any other peripherals?
If you've not done so already, you could try rebooting everything and see if anything changes.
Yes, If I touch the surface of iPad generally.
think of it as you move you’re mouse, but now you’re finger instead.
im using ETS2
have no shortcuts made
Also have no other peripherals
will try to reboot and see of works
@rbeurs Blimey! That's weird!
Which ipad do you have? I'm thinking that it may be in some sort of trackpad or drawing mode? Try rebooting the ipad too please.
I’ve got a iPad 3e generation
How do you have the iPad as second screen.
im using splashtop wired x display
@rbeurs Aha! I suspect, then, that the splashtop wired x display is causing the problem. All my testing was done with SimHub running remotely through tcp/ip.
I've never heard of or used splashtop wired x display but it looks like it mirrors your PC screen and offers some sort of remote access. You'd need to disable splashtop or at least disable the setting which is causing your ipad to behave like a trackpad attached to your PC.
[edit] I just read a review of splashtop wired on the App Store. The reviewer thinks that splashtop would be better if users could turn off the feature where a touch of an ios screen is interpreted as mouse movement.
Maybe that the problem yes.
It’s a extended screen of you’re windows
how do you set it through tcp/ip
is it with open in tablet/phone button in simhub, you then get a link or QR code
@rbeurs I'm certain it's the problem.
Yes, you start the dash from Simhub on your PC, choose the options to run on a tablet, then scan the QR code with the ipad camera.
You mentioned your iPad is gen 3e. Did you mean iPad Air 3? If so, then the dash should work no problem.
No the 3 gen, not the air
will try thanks
@rbeurs Ok. I'm not sure that the dash will run on a 3rd gen iPad.
Specs for simhub are here:
https://github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/Troubleshoot-Dashstudio-Web-access
But you may as well try!
It work, but now I see only a screen with a button F1 and esc and a truck
@rbeurs Sorry, I don't think your iPad is powerful enough to run the dash.
