Hi,

For some unknown reason, the plugin was disabled in SimHub settings (other times it worked perfectly, but this time it played a trick on me.

After activating it I can now change between km and miles.

I apologize for wasting your time and thank you for your hard work.

I send you a minimum donation for my mistake. I´m Gorka. keep working hard and thank you.

Yes, it is possible to create a Dash with only the GPS, but I have not included this in my Dash because I think there are issues with non default maps like ProMods. I did have a go at adding the gps but I couldn’t get it to work properly so I didn’t include it. If I recall correctly there is an example map dashboard included with SimHub. You could have a look at that. Otherwise search these forums or truck sim specific platforms.

Hello NigeUK. First of all, congratulations on this peace of art.

May I ask you a question? There is a way to get the messages about income, tickets, payments, and other stuff, in the dashboard? Route advisor (the original one at game) is very polluted and get the messages inside your dashboard would be nice!

Thank you in advance.

@rianrj Hi there,

Thank you for your kind words.
I haven’t seen any telemetry from ATS/ETS2 which references payments, so I’m not sure it would be possible to add such data to the dashboard.

I will have a look though and let you know either way (in a few days time. I am not at home at the moment).

@nigeuk thank you for your super fast response.

I searched for “message” or “notifications” inside de dashboard studio, but none worked… maybe isn’t possible to get the messages with sim hub, but that’s ok…

Have a great week Nige!

@rianrj Thanks! I will have a look too, but I think the necessary data is not sent out by the sim.

@jeppe-petersen no offense, but if you're having trouble downloading it, you're gonna get a headache trying to set it up. The setup isn't easy.

@jeppe-petersen Hi there.
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘clicking on the simdash file in winrar’?
You need to click on the file on GoogleDrive and then download it.
Next, you need to unzip/unpack the file (using winrar) by right clicking the rar file and choosing the appropriate option to unzip/decompress.
Then you double click on the unpacked simhub file.

It does take a few steps to get set up, but once it’s done, then it’s done. A lot easier than creating one’s own simhub dashes imho.

Hi @NigeUK, dash looks great but ran across some issues relating to the onscreen buttons, one which I was able to fix myself. I'm on 9.1.12 and using your latest release. Following your detailed instructions on setting up Actions A-D didn't work, which I was able to fix using the Controls panel in SimHub. Now I can flip through the small middle screen, but accessing the Primary and Secondary Monitors don't work. The button responds (lights up blue) but the dash doesn't change to the other monitors. Do you know how to fix this? I tried setting up the buttons to "Show next/previous dash screen" under Controls but it didn't work like for the other issue.

I've created a workaround for the issue by using the Main Screen for my tablet and created separate dashes to use the other monitors with my smaller devices.

Thanks for the dash!

Edit: After doing a couple of runs I accidentally swiped across the screen and accessed the other monitors. The dedicated buttons on the screen still don't work, but at least I can repurpose it for other things through the editor.

@zuluwalker Hi there!
Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you’ve followed the steps in the manual exactly, then everything should work. There must have been some changes recently to SimHub to break the logic.
I’ll take a look and let you know.

@zuluwalker Hi again,

I've just tested then dash here and all works as expected.
I'm not sure why you've had these issues.

I'm not sure what to suggest with the configuration procedures, but at least you got everything running!

With regard to the dash the buttons in the bottom right, Up arrow and Down arrows are configured to trigger GraphicalDashPlugin.NextScreen and GraphicalDashPlugin.PreviousScreen, which are built-in SimHub properties and don't need to be "set up" as such to be triggered from the dash screen buttons (but do if you want to assign a controller button).

One "should" be able to drop a button on a dash, add the Action "GraphicalDashPlugin.NextScreen" or the other, and it works without further set up.

Are you using the free or licenced version of SimHub?

tbh I didn't know about the swiping of screens on an iPad, so thanks for that tip. I've learned something new!

I will be revisiting the dash soon to assess what changes to the truck sims have had on the telemetery. I may then discover why the dash isn't working as it should for you.

@nigeuk I'm using a licensed version. I have to say again, really nice work. This dash freed up so many buttons on my wheel and adds so much functionality at my fingertips.

I've also read some people wishing for a non-3:2 version, and I've made a workaround for only the Primary Monitor as it has a lot of empty space at the bottom - reduce the dash size vertically, it's hidden under the menus. Works well for my widescreen device as my speedo/tacho directly in front, with a tablet handling truck controls using the Main Screen on the side. It's a simple trick but it might be useful for someone!
