@simbob Hi, the standings overlay is that large due to the amount of possible rows and columns. An overlay resolution can't be dynamic.
If you have the leaderboard aligned to the left, I'd suggest cropping it in the editor.
I made it that big, because otherwise I can't read it on my 27 inch screen.
@simbob If you don't use the max nb of rows and columns, you can crop the empty areas in the editor and re add it to your layout. Then it will be easier to scale up in the overlay layout editor.
Hi, I have changed some settings in the iracing extras tab in simhub - like delta instead of rpm, tec, but every time I resetart simhub it resets to default. Also in game it always starts with default screen and layout and not with the last selected one. Any way to change this? Thanks!
@xexets Hi, that's strange.
Make sure SimHub is running as admin (in SimHub general settings).
You could try deleting the settings file in case it got corrupted (while SimHub is closed)
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\PluginsData\Common\IRacingExtraProperties.GeneralSettings.json
If this doesn't fix it please zip and share this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\Logs
Good evening, I would like to know, what is the flow that iracing sets up to broadcast the data? I would like to redirect the stream to my other pc to be able to stream
@math14is Hi, what your goal here?
If you want the have SimHub OBS overlays on you streaming PC, you should be able to add them in the same way as on a a local pc but using your gaming PC address instead of 127.0.0.1 in the OBS browser source.
It would look something like:
http://GamingPC@IP:8888/Overlay/OverlayName
I expressed myself badly, I would like to broadcast a live timing via simhub on my web server. with f1 2022, I do it via udp but how can I do it? I relay udp works with iracing? thank you if you find a solution. I want to send the iracing stream to simhub of my web server
@math14is I See. I don't think that's possible with SimHub. At least I don't know how.
SimHub UDP forwarding isn't available for iRacing as the game telemetry comes through an API, not an UDP stream.
Thanks a lot for the information . have a good day. and thank you for your work
would you not have the possibility of creating a plug-in to send the iracing telemetry to an external web server?
@math14is Hi, I assume it's technically possible but I've no clue how it would actually work.
@romainrob Thank you! Not saving - ont even on a fresh system install (which I had to do anyway). Logs attached. Thanks!
@xexets Hi. Thank you for the log files.
This is a sneaky issue. I see some plugins can't access the files they require.
In the case of the iRacing plugin, I think it breaks it right before saving the settings.
I wasn't able to replicate it on my end but I made some changes that hopefully will fix it.
1. Close SimHub
2. Overwrite the dll and pdb files in C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub with the ones in the attached zip
3. Restart SimHub and cross your fingers...
Let me know if it helped.
I wouldn't mind checking your log files again with the updated version since I couldn't actually replicate the issue.
Thank you, unfortunately with these DLL I cannot change the pages in game (buttons correctly configured). Settings are saved in simhub.
@xexets Hmm, I did change the show next/previous page action a little.
I just tested them again and it seems they won't work anymore after changing game.
I'll look into this.
