C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\Web\FontFaces.css
You could double check to make sure it includes the Webdings and Wingdings 3 fonts
In some cases the browser of the tablet not accept some fonts.
You could try to use the SimHub android app or another browser.
Hey @romainrob , first of all, thanks for the great job!
I also have the font missing problem in an old Android tablet (OS4.4) via android app. It works well on a modern Android phone.
I have the latest SimHub but the problem persists. Comparing my FontFaces.css with yours I can see I have 1 more row than you in every font:
font-display: block;
Is this relevant? or sharing fonts via app doesn't use FontFaces.css?
Moreover, I've been trying to use your new iRacing Controls Dashboard, but can't manage to make the Chat widget work. In the plugin it asks for formulas, but don't know what to type. I've seen in the screenshots a normal sentence, but no matter what I set there, I'm not able to see it in my devices.
@nolaster Hi. I'm afraid I don't know much more about how web devices handle the fontfaces file.
I see there was a SimHub update today including a change about fonts
"Fix : HTML engine font extraction, extract better multiple typeface fonts definitions from font files for HTML rendering."
Id' suggest trying it. Maybe this can help.
Regarding the chat buttons
For plain text messages enter them in the formula box inside " ' ", so they are evaluated as strings.
For exemple
'This is my message'
For the messages to update on the dash, the game as to be running.
Or play with the "only evaluate..." toggle to force update them all at once, even when the game isn't running
Hi, I installed RCS to use with another dashboard display and I believe this issue may be coming from this. I hear the voice say "Hi" every time Simhub is opened and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to disable this. Do you have any idea where this would be coming from? Thanks!
Hi,
I don't know if this is normal or not....
If I use the Universal Simhub Dash por iRacing as overlay in webview 2 mode, I've quite a few fps drops while playing. However if I use the usual engine (WPF) I don't have those drops.
I suppose it's because webview engine consumes more cpu.
@mlampe Hi, this would be from may sounds plugin.
You can disable the various sounds in the "Sounds" plugin option, or disable the plugin itself in Simhub settings/plugins screen.
@tgunator Hi, I find overall the webview runs well. Possibly faster than wpf. It may depends on the components displayed, and the amount of them. I now only use wpf where I want sub pixel accuracy, for moving components (basically maps/trackers).
hi! another one noob here!
fist, congrats Romainrob for your work, its completely amazing!
i use the RSC - iRacing - Leaderboard Standing Dash and i have a issue with my ipad mini. (and others phones or tablets)
In the pc i can see works perfectly the dash but.. in my ipad only i can see the left part. 🙁
i post a photo because my english is something bad, one pic > thousend words xD
removed link
I try to change some settings html, wpf, different sizes... but no works, always half screen
Help plzzzz
oops the link with the image is deleted... i dont know how to upload the image
Hii!
I can find the problem, but not the solution.
If i change WPF to HTML(WebView2) in the settings, and i open the dash "on window" in my PC, i see the same problem, the right side is in black.
To fix the problem, in the PC its easy, i change to WPF render and works nice, but i cant change this setting for the external devices.
@kasedj Hi, html mode doesn't seem to handle dynamic widget width anymore. I made it static in the next update to work around this.
1.3.4 Update
iRacing leaderboards
- Fixed the standings being cropped in html mode
- Added RLB lapsincelastpit properties
- Added a stint lap column to the relative leaderboards
iRacing Universal dash
- The pit entry/box/exit distance will now be displayed in feet or meters depending on SimHub preferred units
Sounds
- Fixed some sounds still playing when the enable sounds options was off
- Made the SimHub notifications text to speech disabled by default
Have fun out there!
yeah!
I try it now and works perfect!
Very thanks Romain!!
First of all, thanks for the hard work you've put into this.
I'm having some issues with the Input overlay that I'm not experienced enough to solve myself. Despite the rotation in the additional plugins menu matching the wheel software and game rotation (900 degrees), the overlay rotation seems right at centre, but as I add steering angle, the overlay seems to add a multiplier and looks increasingly off. I'm on a G29. Pedal inputs look spot on, by the way, so the problem is limited to steering angle. The axis is bound to ExtraInputProperties.SteeringAngle and I'm not using raw device input values. Am I missing a setting of some sort or is that a bug?
