Light control matrix led rgb 8x8

Do you know if there is a way to assign the brightness intensity control for the ws2812b 8x8 RGB LED matrix.

With the RGB LED strip you can assign a control either from the steering wheel keyboard or whatever with which you can adjust the brightness intensity, but with the LED matrix I cannot find the option.
