adding device - CM6206 Sound Card

I picked up a cheap external USB sound card which uses the CM6206-LX chip. I updated to the most recent driver, but I'm not able to add the device as a 7.1 sound card. If I do the ShakeIt bass shaker, I can select the USB device, but only as a 2 Channel. I'm using the licensed version of SimHub, if that matters.
