Hello All,

I am building a steering wheel button box and would like someone to confirm the matrix wiring is ok?

I have made a button box before but it was easier to work out as it was in simple rows and columns.

I would avoid it on a wheel, button matrix is limited to one button pressed at a time, it could be an issue in some specific conditions.

@admin5435

I shouldn't ever need to push more than one button at a time? Does the matrix look ok though?

Unfortunately I don't have the space to fit a Bodnar board? Are there other options you can recommend please?

Just an update. This matrix layout worked just fine if anyone wants to copy it.

Hi I didn't want to start a new topic as it's a similar issue as originally posted by BenAG so I am posting my request here.

I'm a newbie (apologies upfront) I have decided to start my 1st project over the Easter holidays and before I start ordering parts and wiring switches and encoders etc, I would like some advice. PLEASE 😀
I have designed a circuit using a Pro-Micro board with on-off-on momentary toggle switches (x6) and 4 encoders, also with switches.

Can someone that knows their stuff have a look at what I have designed and check to see what I am planning to do will actually work, please.

Here is the wiring any feedback would be appreciated.

Many thanks.
