Hi everyone!
I am not(yet) a simulation enthusiast, but instead i like to tinker and learn new skills. A simracer friend of mine asked me to create an shield that would at least have connectivity and components to support these features:
- Solderless connection
- Tachometer
- 8x8 led matrix
- Wind simulation with three boat blowers
Support for two XBox Controller vibration/rumble -motors was added later, also added 3 x 4Pin PWM-fan connectors to the board.
There have been many prototypes, failures and bad design choices. Began with through-hole -components, didn't like the looks, so learned to solder surface mount ones.
The project is nearly finished, but i am keen to listen for additional feedback and suggestions. Also i am wondering, is there is any general interest for this kind of thing.
