I'm having some difficulty adding Philips Hue products as Ambient Lights devices. I should mention that this has worked in the past, but no longer after starting fresh. I deleted my earlier device configuration, starting fresh and now no longer able to progress further than the detection of my Hue bridge.

That is, I can select "Add new device", "Add Philips Hue Entertainment", Select my reported Bridge that's identified with an IP address, and finally press "Ok".

After that, nothing. The window closes and I'm not prompted with an option to press the Hue Bridge button that should normally prompt. I'm simply brought back to the "Capture layout" tab of the "Ambient Lights" menu.

Any guess to what might be ending the syncing process prematurely? I'm currently running the latest version 9.3.1 that includes an update for this process, but have also tried in version 9.2.6 of the software.

Thanks for any help ^-^

I am currently experiencing the same issue after updating sofware in the bridge, did you ever figure it out?

I would like to un-peer, and re-peer the bridge to see if that sorts it, as it seems to still be linked from previous but I can't see a way to do so. Any ideas?

Ok, So I got mine working again by uninstalling and reinstalling simhub, then setting up the ambient lights again from scratch (having to pair with the bridge by pushing the pair button etc)

I ended up losing all my game configs, profiles etc during the reinstall, but at least my lights are working again

If there was a setting in simhub to un-link/unpair the bridge, and do the "first time setup" again, this would have been preferable, but I could not find such an option. If anyone knows if this is possible, please advise

Hello,

I also have the same problem.
Not wanting to reinstall the software, I tried another approach and identified the configuration files.

You have to go to the Simhub folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\PluginsData\Common and delete the 2 files that correspond to the Hue bridge configuration:
- SimuLightSettings.HueBridges.json
- SimuLightSettings.HueKeys.json

Quit and relaunch Simhub, and pair again
