Hi, SimHub community,

I have the following setup, and everything is working perfectly except the below problem:

  • 2 bass shakers setup (front/rear)
  • VR set (pico 4)
  • w11 + licensed simhub

I am familiar with all the issues and solutions (I have tried pretty much everything), but I have a different problem that drives me crazy.

Sometimes the channel's effects got mixed in between --> some effects that are only configured for Rear, are moving to the Front. Imagine having exclusive effects on the Rear (e.g. engine, gear shift, etc.), and randomly, SimHub combines some of them in the Front together with other Front exclusive effects (e.g. ABS, wheels lock, etc.). It moves all effects except Gear Switch (chn 2 still works), altogether just on the Front (btw chn 1).

This is happening randomly, sometimes it takes 1 second to recover back to normal, but there are also 10 minutes. Of course, it gets to normal after race restart, or menu enter/exit (automatically reset interfaces after 5 seconds it's enabled).

Why do I know it is a SimHub issue and not something else? First, this only happens in Custom Channel mode, if I am playing in the default SimHub mode Front/Rear, this bug does not appear at all. Second, I have tried all the possible combinations of Audio drivers, enabling/disabling VR, audio frequency, priority, volumes, and so on.

The log does not show anything related to FMOD activity (I have mapped an event button so I can mark it in the logs when the error happened).

If no one has an idea that could solve this .... could we please add a button to Reset the Interface manually ?

Currently, the only workaround I have is to play with the Toggle Mute button and disable the effects when it happens.

Thank you
