hi
wonder if somebody can help me ive got 2 bass shakers dayton bst-1 and a Nobsound NS-10G amp. The question is :-
when i set it up in simhub as front and back doesn't matter what setting I use both bass shakers vibrate. is this normal ?
i cant seem to split them into different channels as in say left and right where i want certain things to come out of the left it also comes out of the right.
I'm sure I'm being thick over thinking it or is this normal you just have to dial down the one you dont want to feel and if you do that does it make it less intense so you can tell the difference.
might not be very clear but hopefully you do understand.
another expample
so abs want to feel at the front shaker but i feel it at the front and back shaker doesnt matter what setting i use i cannot isolate it to just the front.
cheers i know its a long and probably bit confusing but im sure somebody will kinda understand it
My guess is that the USB Audio is sending Mono Audio to the amp rather than Stereo, for whatever reason. I have a 3.5mm AUX amp that sends Stereo automatically and the two channels operate independently of one another properly.
Perhaps the Windows sound settings can be changed for your output. Check and see what type of audio is being sent from the PC via USB audio by going to Settings -----> Sound ------> "More Sound Options". Find the USB Audio Device (with it plugged in) and right click, and select "Properties". It'll tell you in there under "Advanced" whether the USB device is "1 Channel" or "2 Channel" and the frequency. Choose "2 Channel" and try again.
Did you ever find a solution? im having the same issue ATM (sound blaster play 3 usb sound card)
In windows my left and right split works as expected, but when using simhub it combines both channels even tho it shows that is outputting separate. If i plug my transducer amp into my motherboard audio however, It works correctly. The issue is only with my USB sound card and simhub
Any solution? It seems like a bug

Ah, the joys of bass shakers! They can really add a whole new level of immersion to your sim racing experience. But it can be a bit tricky to get them set up just right.
If you're having trouble isolating the vibrations to different channels, don't worry, you're not alone. It's a common issue. One way to get around it is to use a game like Monkey Mart. Monkey Mart is an online game that simulates the challenges of running a grocery store. It's a great way to test out your bass shakers and see how they respond to different types of vibrations.
Plus, Monkey Mart is just plain fun to play! So even if you're not having any problems with your bass shakers, I highly recommend giving it a try.
