Binding to simhub generated properties

Hi, New to Simhub but started developing my own dashbord, most things are simple enough though I do find missing documentation. I couldn't find a way to bind to properties such as "Overall Gain" in a haptic device, I have the decrement and increment bound through control mapper, but can't find the property of the value itself.

As an alternative I created a property to track the gain externally though contorol mapper events but there is a delay on the property when its set and evaluates to 1 which rules out this idea, Under the Controls and Events plugin there is a "InputPressed" event which I noticed it triggerd much more consistently than the properties on the buttons, though its only mappable to an action, Is there a way to listen to an event and update a property based on the event data?
