Hi!

First of all, thanks for the amazing work that you guys had done with this soft, amazing powerfull and intuitive.

I have installed a bodyshakers setup in my rig using simhub. The installation and setting was easy, but since the first moment, im suffering a noticiable delay between the sim "action" and the shakers. Its specially noticiable on the curbs, bumps and gear shifts. I cant cuantificate it accurately, but its totally noticiable, maybe 3 to 5 tenths.

Im using iracing. The sound output im using is the hdmi of my rtx 2080, connected to a denon avr, wich outputs the signal to 5 bodyshakers. Ihave disabled all sound processing in the dvr, also in windows sound settings. No delay or speaker distance set on the dvr neither, so, i dont know what else to try.

Any help will be very welcome.

Thanks for reading

Hi ! Could you try to test with a regular sound card ? hdmi can have induced latency.
On simhub data is acquired at 60 fps, and fmod processes sound in 10-20ms so it means about 16ms + 20ms to get the effect output.

Hi Nicolas!

Thanks for your fast response.

I can try with the optical output of my MOBO, but with this method i would only have 2 channels.

The only other option that i see to get the 5 channels working without the hdmi is to get 3 of this:

https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B012H1YDD4/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A3KL1DOWNSFVGD&psc=1

And 2 2-channels plus 1 one-channel amps.

Am i right?

Thanks again

Personally I use this for up to 8 channels at once: https://www.amazon.fr/CSL-haut-parleurs-enregistrement-transmission-analogiques/dp/B00WKAYXZQ/ref=sr_1_9?__mk_fr_FR=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=carte+son+7.1&qid=1591186266&sr=8-9

About the amp, if it has RCA input you may still be able to use it, otherwise yes you will need to switch to something else indeed.
