I recently wired a boost gauge to a arduino nano and the boost gauge reads 0 as full boost and also it reads too much its off by 7 psi please help I have no idea what to do.
Hi !
You can find the calibration process described here in SimHub :
Do not hesitate to check your gauges characteristics, SimHub generates a 0-5v pwm signal, but depending of the manufacturer/model it may vary (see https://github.com/zegreatclan/SimHub/wiki/Arduino-After-Market-Boost-Gauge#important-notes)
Ok thank you. I just bought another one so when it comes I’ll wire it up again and I’ll try to calibrate it.
but do you think this one will work?
Sadly the sensor characteristics are not available from the product page, so it's impossible to say if this particular model will work
You need to find a model using a 0-5v signal sensor (3 pins) sensor, like this one : https://www.amazon.com/Sensor-Replacement-Sender-Pressure-CGQ01/dp/B01FODDUWM
Sadly the product page where I got my own gauge is not available anymore so I don't wan't to point you to a bad product.
The wire on the boost gauge I linked is a 3 pin. But I don’t know the voltage so I’ll just have to wait and see
But is it possible to wire that sensor onto the boost gauge and then it will work?
I can confirm that the max tow boost gauge does work
