Hello, I am new in here, hope you all well!

I bought the LED Dashboard for sim racing off the ebay:

This is my first time using simhub and I did plug in via simhub and all worked and tested on AC but one issue:
When you playing the game, the dashboard made frozen and USB lost the connection (I saw the simhub USB list keep said lost and reconnection)

Do you have any idea whats the issues and how can i fix? I tried USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and 3.1....3 different cables. No luck!

I did contacted the seller and they said they did tested twice before dispatched so I have no idea whats the issues.
Hope any one can help me!

Thank you for your time.

Hi !
Unfortunately this is clearly an hardware issue, this looks like a weak power or weak wiring short, but it's strange those two modules should hold with no troubles on simple USB power.

Could you try to lower brightness and see if it helps ?

If it does not helps I would say it's a weak wiring / short issue, likely to be on the matrix wiring since matrix gets into action when you enter the game. Such setup is really simple and not playing with the limits si it must run without troubles when hardware is properly wired and working.

PS 1 : Make sure serial baudrate is on 115200, higher speeds maybe unstable depending of serial chip model on the board.

PS do not hesitate to contact again the seller, I have absolutely no agreement with any hardware seller so they are 100% responsible for what they sells 😉

Thank you for your reply!

I have tried both what you mentioned. Unfortunately no luck... definitely wire faulty.

I tried both low as much I did down to 0. Still frozen and reset.

I'll contact the eBay. Thank you for your help!

Hello! I just realised that I haven't tried Serial speed, I did put all down to first one (low number) and worked very well! No frozen/restart itself. Very happy with it.
I wonder whats serial speed does?
Thank you very much for help!
