Make sure you use the right driver (CH341SER)

Connect it to the PC, you should see a solid LED on POW, and a slow blink on L.
Then open the Simhub / My Hardware   and select the 'Open arduino setup tool' option.
Pick your sketch from the left.
Under 'Compile and upload', choose 'new bootloader' (default will be old bl), and your serial port connected.
tick the 'I understand' box, and upload a sketch to the arduino.  Once completed, close sketch setup, and return to main window.  Now you should see 'Connected' under 'Devices Scan', where before would've been 'Unrecognised'.

I went through this for a few hours and couldn't find much online.  So I thought I'd let others know here, once I figured it out.

Hello

I went through this problem in another way

This was the only way i discovered that worked in my case:

- install the "CH341SER.EXE" driver that you find here removed link
- open simhub with the Arduino connected
- Simhub will not recognize the arduino yet, but it will send you a pop up window on top, that says you have installed the wrong driver
- install the driver that simhub tells you to do in the pop up window
- Unplug and replug the board, and now it should be fixed

Installing the "CH341SER.EXE" driver seems that it trigger simhub to let you install the correct driver

Cheers
