Hi

Β

I am planning to do a G-seat using servos and air blades for sim racing

I need to access telemetry for pitch, roll, yaw, surge, sway and heave acceleration (AC,ACC,RF2)

Is there a way to do this using simhub?

thank you

Hi ! Motion wasn't a goal of simhub so only Yaw pitch roll are extracted in a cross game way. I plan to work on proper motion support by the end of the year. For now simtools remains the best "motion oriented" diy platform (even if I don't like simtools particularly, but that's only my personal feeling πŸ˜‰ ).

I tend to agreeΒ  ....

is there any way i could use the available Yaw pitch roll for my servos still?

I see there is a custom feature but not sure how to use it

'By the end of year': is it the planned release or the start of the dev?

thks

Hi there, I am actually after the same functionality!

I built up a servo driven belt tensioner with plans for a servo driven pneumatic air bag g-seat upgrade next but when I went to use the surge, sway & heave with a custom protocol they were always set to NULL.

As a work around, I'm using the brake percentage as an alternative to surge but it isn't the same.

I thought of using pitch & roll but wasn't sure if they were relative to track (& hence the "car" angles) or relative to the world (where the pitch/slope of the track would be in effect added to the pitch of the car, for example).

I'm very happy with SimHub & would love to continue using & supporting it. If I can assist with testing or coding please let me know.

Rod.
