Hello!!
I have a motion rig and all the hepatic and vibrations are run from SimHub, Motion from SRS, and Thanos. Have to say that all the options that Simhub gives me for the vibration make it far better than SRS.
My motion rig has 4 SFX actuators, and I have add a 5th one for a harness tensioner, thinking that it could be run from SRS.
To my surprise and disappointment, it is not run well from SRS, it is awful. Impressive, I have a controller, a servo motor and cant it makes me move as I want.
That makes me think about Simhub. As I have a few vibrating motors, I know a bit about the software, and I remember that there is a deceleration effect. I have no problem changing the servo motor and installing a DC motor.
I have attached a pic of the system that I have built (4 points harness tensioner for a 5 point harness).
What I'm looking for?
When I break that the harness makes pressure over me..
How: Desacceleration.. with a limit of x turns or force.. when I accel again less pressure over the harness.
I don´t know if a DC motor can handle this, could be made with min and max volts/amps?
Any idea on how to do it?
It is strange.. a servomotor can be set up with the controller almost as anyway you want, but with SRS, you just can't do it. I could limit the turns, torque, speed, position, etc.. the sky is the limit, but I don't know how to set it up and SRS also doesn't give me the possible parameters to control it.
So with this motor, I will make traction lost effect and hope to go for a DC (or AC) motor to give me the harness tensioner a good effect.. or at least real
Thanks!!!
