How to change RGB LEDs once the race is about to start?

I have a RBG LED function to show an animation when a specific game is running (i.e. I open F1 2021 and the LEDs do the animation I wanted to show) but the animation keeps going even when the race has started. How can I set the RGB LEDs to change once teh car is on the grid or in the pitlane for a test drive?
