I have NEVER had an answer to any of my questions on this forum, but I have not lost all hope, so here's another one: how can I make SimHub not take control of the audio volume of my shakers? If I use an external program (or even directly change the volume of the audio output I use for my shakers), SimHub automatically and almost instantly reverts the volume back to what is set in the program. I have tried disabling the audio control plugin but that makes no difference. I'm using SimHub 6.9.7. Alternatively, is there any way to create a hotkey to set the volume from Simhub to a specific value or to 100%? All I see is a way to create hotkeys to increment or decrement.

You can control the gain/volume mode for each enabled sound card by clicking on the "output settings" button on the right of each enabled sound card, here you can choose either volume control or sound gain mode (volume control is the default as getting access to a non default sound card general volume is quite complex in windows so this mode avoid additional struggle of muted or low volume sound card)
Edit : 6.9.7 is really old, I'm not sure this option was already available at this time
