Hi everyone,

Here is my layout.

4 ButtKicker LFEs in each corner for the tires.

1 Buttkicker Mini on the shifter.

1 Buttkicker mini on the pedals.

Sound card is a Sound Blaster 7.1 pci card.

So I have six 3.5mm connectors for only 3 inputs on the sound card (Front, Back, Sides)

I bought three 3.5mm splitters that have not arrived yet.  Would this make this work?

When I used two sound cards which was enough connections for all the 3.5mm all I could ever get to work was two buttkickers and they were never in the place I thought they would be.  I'm sure I haven't wired this correctly.  For the four corners I have a Sound Town 4 channel amp and for the minis I have two buttkicker amps.

What is the proper way to wire this type of setup?

Thank you!

Hi !

That sounds perfect, each 3.5mm gives you 2 separare channels, so with 3 3.5mm it gives you 6separate channels (one per RCA plug) .. .Front left/front right etc... Even if the buttkicker amp has two RCA inputs you can route only one RCA on each, the buttkicker amps are mono amplifiers.

Thank you for your response!  Oh man can't wait, hopefully I did the speaker wiring job correctly.  I'll update once it's up and running.  🙂

Please help.  I've been trying for over 13 hours.  I have a 4 channel Sound Town amp.  I plug each channel into the 3.5 splitter and place them in the sound card inputs.  No matter which 4 corner option I test only the front left buttkicker will vibrate.  It doesn't matter which input or splitter I select.  Or multiple channels will light up on the amp even though it's only the front left thats vibrating.  Do I want the 4 channel Sound Town amp on (ground) or (lift)?  And there are (stereo) or (mono) for the 4 channels.

Basically, how do you wire this?  Gah, I want to take an axe to this setup.  Please help.

@gorillajones I know this is old but if you see this message, please help me brother.  I'm having the same issue you had and I can't figure it out. I have days invested into this and I have tried everything.  There's clearly something I'm missing and if you could help me I'd appreciate it so much.

You can email me directly if you'd like @ [email protected]

Thank you so much in advance
