I programmed a Arduino Pro Mini through Simhub and built a 8x8 iFlag.  Tested everything in Simhub and all is good except.....  During a iRacing race, the flag works great until a caution flag flies, (Yellow Flag) While the yellow flag is displayed, the iFlag disconnects and reconnects about every 5 seconds.  The flag will flash yellow, but when it disconnects, it turns orange and stays orange until the iFlag reconnects.  This process repeats itself until the green flag drops.  Once the race is back underway, everything is good.  When the yellow flag comes out again = same issue.  When the white flag flies, the iFlag turns orange and it locks on that color and will not change. To get the iFlag working again, one must disconnect it and reconnect it.

Thoughts?

Hi ! This looks like a powering issue, are you using any usb hub in the middle ? Trying straight from the motherboard or lowering the brightness can help. Alternatively injecting some 5v can do the trick if you lack usb power : https://github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/Arduino--Setup#powering-considerations

I have it plugged straight into the motherboard.  I will try to lower the brightness.  If that does not work, how do I inject some 5v?
