Hello,

Can Simhub be installed on a different drive?

I've always had a problem with slow load times with Simhub.  It's installed on a regular hard drive.."C:" drive.

I have my games and Steam installed on my E: drive which is a M.2 SSD drive mounted directly to the motherboard.

I originally thought the slow down was due to an I-5 cpu but I recently upgraded to an I-9 cpu to obtain more processing power.

It made no difference at all so now I'm wondering if it's the old platter style hard drive.

I can't seem to find an option for installing to a different drive...

My pc is an MSI Z390 gamer Mb with 32Gig of Ram, An RTX 2060 Super video card with an I5 9600k cpu.

Now it has an I9 9900 cpu.   It should be extremly fast loading but it's not.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi,
If the installer detect SimHub is already installed it won't ask for a destination folder.
To move it either:
1. Backup your current SimHub Install folder.
2. Uninstall SimHub
3. Install it to your new drive
And overwrite the new install with the backup to restore your settings (make sure both are the same version)
You may have to reactive your licence

Or
1. Move your current install folder to your new drive. For example "d:\SimHub"
2. And run the installer with this command to force to change the install path
SimHubSetup_X.X.X.exe /DIR="d:\SimHub"

@mnwpro3 Hi, I'm not the SimHub developer, just a passionate user, so I certainly can not.
See a couple post above how to force the destination folder with a command line.
