New to this...
why does the dash report 300rpm when the car is not turned on? should be 0rpm, no?
also, I was wondering if there is a telemetry status shared from iRacing to indicate whether the 'ignition' is on?

Hi,
I believe the 300 rpm is how the data is from the game.
You can use DataCorePlugin.GameRawData.Telemetry.Voltage to guess the ignition state
