Heya, I have a motorshield with a wind sim fan on and it works in game on the speed property just fine,
But on simhub 6.7.0 you used to be able to 'test motor' from the output settings to fire up the fan at a constant chosen speed, which is nice to do on hot days at the computer.

But I can't find a way to do this on latest simhub 7.3.13, you can 'test' the fans by output but that only runs for a second.
Is there a way, with no sim running, to turn the fans on either by a setting or a hotkey?

You can see here my attempts, I have custom property on and 'speed' property on, both work with the test function
But I am trying to set the value or button by which the fans come on for custom property.

I have tried several properties that are in a range of 0 to 100 like
[ShakeITMotorsV3Plugin.GlobalGain] (always 95)
and [JoystickPlugin.Controller_(Xbox_One_For_Windows)_RY]/655.35 (right stick vertical axis from 0 to 99.99)
I can see these values fluctuate from 0 to 99 in the raw result field of the formula menu but the effect doesn't come through on the graph without the sim running
(the formulas work as expected when iracing is running and I am in the car, and i can control the fan speed with the right stick, but i want to do this without needing to be in the car with the sim running)

So how do you send outputs to ShakeIt without a sim running?
Is there a setting you can use within simhub to just set the fans to fully on for a while?

Hi ! You can use the static wind effect and uncheck "only in game", then on the effect title you can click on the controls icon and set some controls to it
