Manually Controlling a Wind Sim / Arduino

Built myself a simple little wind simulator using an Arduino Uno rev 3, an AC dimmer/voltage controller and a pair of 120vac desk fans (considering a low run product based on this). The issue now is I used to use my fans just for cooling - which is now rather difficult as currently my option is to dump my Arduino code back on the Uno so I can control it via a simple Python app. But then I have to reload the code from Simhub, etc.

So the question is this - is there an easy way to manually control the fan speed (currently set to car speed) so I can turn them on/off while I'm doing other things.

Hi, I found this thread looking for a manual way to program my arduino too, because I am addicted to programming and I don't like the visual way. Looking for this I found SimHub SDK available in c#. Hope this helps 🙂

Thanks, found a far easier option - I'm using "Static Wind" in SimHub which is then controlled by my button box. So I can mute/unmute the fans (turn them on/off) and increase/decrease the speed. Works great and lets me adjust the max speed for the wind sim for when it's chilly, etc.
