NextionMicroBridge question

Hello! I ask you a question, I don't know anything about programming. I made another post, but this one would be about something different I think

is it possible to modify the code of this example: NextionMicroBridge, to put 12 buttons instead of 4?

My plan is to use an arduino pro micro for a nextion of 3.2" and 16 ws2812 leds, with the 12 buttons and on another arduino put one more button, plus 4 encoders
