Number Pad as Button box

Hello,

I'm new here so sorry if this has been solved already. I'm trying to use a USB number pad as a button box. Using the keyboard emulator plugin I can get the number lock key to simulate Escape to pause Assetto Corsa. I'd like to use the other 17 keys as controller buttons for headlights, wipers, look left/right, change brake bias, etc. Is it possible to mix functions this way? If not, is there a way to get the USB number pad recognized as a controller so I can use the mapper plugin? Thanks in advance for any help.
