This overlay? https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/2022-f1tv-halo-hud.53829/. If so, that uses Gary Swallow Plugin which can be quite demanding for some CPU's. How old is your hardware and is your pc in good condition to run this + the game?

Last time I used GSP is a while ago, so no idea how it runs now. You could test by selecting a different overlay + disable GSP plugin in simhub settings.

The larger the overlay, the more resources drift hunters needed to render it smoothly. Try lowering the resolution of the overlay in SimHub to reduce demand. 720p or 1080p is likely sufficient.

Players who play games face overlay issues, in case they can visit the SimHub website which allows to reduce the 720P and 1080p demand.
