I am having fun setting up my buttkicker gamer plus in simhub. The only issue I am having so far is the gear shift thump is not reliable.
Sometimes in game I get a thump when shifting, sometimes I don't.
I have it set to high priority and 20 hz which is far away from any of the other road vibration / wheel slip effect's hz setting.
I notice when I press the test button sometimes I get sharp peaks, sometimes plateaus.
Am I doing something wrong?
The unreliable shake effect mostly happens when using the Logitech h-pattern shifter. If I use something like the BMZ Z4 GT3 I get the effect with every up and downshift. Sometimes the effect hits a little soft, but it does not just skip the effect entirely.
Can I please get an answer on why the output graph looks like this?
Why isnt the graph always the exact same "shape"? Did I configure something incorrectly in simhub?
The way this works, I'm just going to delete this setting. Missing a shift thump every other shift breaks immersion more than it adds to it.
