Rotary Switches question

Hi everyone! Newbie here, first I want to congratulate the developer on a great app. To the point, I'm trying to recreate an F1 steering wheel for F1 2019. There are a couple of options in game like Fuel mix and ERS that have multiple choices each, 4 for FM and 6 for ERS, so my idea is to use a 4 and 6 position rotary switch to select the desire option, but this are like ON/OFF permanent switches (it will keep the arduino pin to GND all the time while is in that position), not momentary switches so I was wondering if it'll work. If not, is there a way to make it work ? 

Btw, I'm using an Arduino Nano (old bootstrap) that is also running Shake it through an L298N (pins 5 to 10). Thanks !
