What will I lose in terms of tactile feedback through a single BKG2 mounted to a playseat evolution, if I connect SimHub to the headphone out of my TV which receives HDMI audio from my Nvidia 1080Ti, or the lower impedance “front” headphone out jack on the front of my PC case?
As opposed to my main Asus Maximus X Apex motherboard back panel I/O soundcard?
I kind of like having the high quality sound output going to my ears as opposed to the tinny HDMI Audio from the headphone out jack of the TV or the lower impedance, less audiophile sound coming fron the “front” headphone jack on the front of my PC case (NZXT S340 Elite).
If the latter is ok, which of the two would you advise for the Simhub (HDMI out or lower impedance headphone jack on front of the case (<50ohm)?)
Hi !
Honnestly, it doesn't matter much, as long as the signal is correctly received, shakers do not require audiophile wiring and configuration 😉 Just choose the best compromise to get the best quality for your regular audio and a decent latency for shakers (HDMI can introduce a bit of latency, a quick test will tell you what your hardware combo gives).
