Hi All,

Just wondering if it is possible to set a specific dash layout depending on what session you are in (practice, qualify or race)?

I see you can set "conditions" in the manage screens page so I imagine you may be able to do it there, but I have no idea of what functions to use to make this work in iRacing.

If anyone could help that would be much appreciated

I really want to know this too but no one has replied to my F1 thread. Lovely Dash layout works perfectly fine in practice but then come race time the dash is duplicating the lap and session times from the right side to the left where the tire wear and temps were previously displayed. I don't want the same useless info twice I want to keep the tires up but don't know how to fix it

Hopefully this is helpful, this is a lengthy video but very indepth for how to set things up. I'm not sure if it will entirely solve your ask, but I think you can manually do it anyway.

Video:

Setting config link:

I think if you go into SimHub>Devices > Controls tab > There is a setting called "Trigger Dash Action" for A, B, C, and D. My understanding from watching this is that A is the left part of lovely dash, B is the right side, and then C and D are like middle and top or something. So in this case if you were to set up Trigger Dash Action A to bind to a key, you could then cycle the display on the left side of the screen. May not be exactly what you are looking for since it won't recognize which type of session you are in but you could manually trigger what is display to cycle through to the desired setting (and even be able to change it while in the session as you desire)

Hopefully this is helpful, it may have solved my other thread about displaying Tires throughout a race in F1, going to give it a try here in the next week or so

Setting up dashboards for different sim racing sessions is crucial for getting the right data when you need it most. I found myself diving into the tech behind it all while trying to balance my studies and sim racing hobby. I ended up needing some assistance with my academic workload, so I decided order essay cheap to help out with a few assignments.
