I'm not the sort of person who usually comes to the forum for help. Whatever it is I usually work through it and find the problem, but here I have tried it all and I am completely stumped.

Basically, my compatible Govee lights are taking 2-3 seconds to react to changes of colour on screen. I have it set up to scan the small area where my car's windscreen is. It's in iRacing, but that's irrelevant since the lag is present when testing with coloured desktop windows.

My PC is 7800x3D coupled with RTX 4090, so I think we can rule out slow hardware. Also, my router is an ASUS ROG ax11000, which is extremely fast and powerful, though I cannot completely rule out some sort of router setting causing this. The lag happens even when ONLY SimHub is running, along with the basic Windows stuff. I am using NVIDIA Surround on triple monitors, but only have the windscreen section as my read area, which is quite small.

I just dont know what to try next. I actually want to expand my sim-specific lighting but I can't until I can fix this lag. Anyone have any ideas what might be up?

This has now been resolved with the help of a dev on GitHub, supplying me with a new version of SimHub where Simhub ignores incorrect of late responses from the lights. This fix will now be built into future versions.
