I have a Licensed version of Simhub and it is not selecting the games automatically after the last update version 7.3.7. Was running fine in the previous version.
I hid the games I don't own from the games tab list and still GP Bikes shows "wating for data" in the top of the page ( despite I don't have it) and I have to select games I have manually.
Is there a way to fix this?
Hi ! I will check that !
Concerning available games or not simhub doesn't hide them, but you can right click on it and hide it. Unfortunately adding an "autohide" would lead to issues with some games which are impossible to detect properly as installed (some games are available through multiple platforms, steam, direct dvd, or sometimes "not genuine", and some people use consoles which can't be detected at all)

@admin5435 Is it possible to download previous version 7.3.6 from somewhere? I would like to downgrade it because I think this annoying issue will stop. I look into Download section but there's no 7.3.6 to download.
Yes all the versions are stored here : https://www.simhubdash.com/official/

Could you check that the automatic selection option is still enabled ? I did a quick test and it switched with no issues :
If the option is enabeld, is it happening with a particular game ?
@admin5435 Yes that option is enabled, I check it before posting because I thought it could be disabled. GPBikes games keeps on top of the app with "waiting for data" message. I don't have that game. It may be the issue with it, something regarding to that game.
Will try a complete uninstall and will report back soon.
@admin5435 I had a chance today to roll back to previous version but the issue is still happening. Also did a complete uninstall and the issue is there! I open a game, lets say Automobilista 2 and I need to manually click in the game for it to work, otherwise it don't recognize the game.
In Assetto Corsa is even worse because I use Content Manager to run the game so it only "runs" when a car and track is loaded since the normal launcher is not running, so every time I get out of a track I need to reselect the game in Simhub list.
Could you look into this more closely?
GPBikes games is always on top waiting for data but I don't have the game...
Hi !
I've investigated about it and I think I've found a potential reason : gpbike main executable is called "core.exe" it's this name which is used for game detection, but I guess considering "core" is a really generic term some other software could use the same and make the detection crazy. Could you check in task manager if there is any process called "core" ? I guess it would explain it. For the next version I've added more checks around gpbike because I think "core.exe" could be the culprit.
@admin5435 I just checked and there are two "core.exe" processes running in my pc. I investigated and they are from Warsaw Diebold company and it is related to bank transactions security over the internet. Can't kill the processes and as far as I know will be difficult to uninstall it because it is meant to be like that (as a security software, it will install again automatically).
I am pretty sure it is the reason and thanks for looking into it!
Hope you can find a fix soon enough.
@admin5435 I managed to uninstall the Warsaw software and everything ran fine again. So you found the culprit indeed. Thank you again and hope you can find a way to avoid this issue not related exactly to Simhub soon!
Nice ! My intuition was good. I already took the lead and implemented additional checks around the core.exe detection to make sure it's really gpbike (by checking other files installed along the executable). In the wait of the release, if you need to reinstall your banking software you can disable this "core.exe" detection by editing the following file : c:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\SimHubWPF.exe.config, line 261 you will find this :
<add key="GPBikesProcesses" value="core" />
Simply change it for a dummy name, since you don't own the game it will be harmless but will prevent the game detection false positives related to your banking software :
<add key="GPBikesProcesses" value="coredummy" />

Hi Nicolas,
I installed the latest version of SimHub but I still have problems with core.exe. I did the workaround you suggested but I'd like to know if you already implemented a solution in the latest build.
Thanks
