Hello, the other day I accidentally stumbled across an override for 20,000rpm karts. Now I can't seem to find it again...lol.
Can anyone direct me to the proper location of that setting?
Thanks,

Hey Wotever, how ya been?
Maybe you can shed some lite about this question...
So, with everything running, Btw I'm using Project cars 2, When in the game I found the area of the tach override for Karts. I just Alt tab out of the game to setup Simhub overrides.
The only problem is I can't figure out what numbers to put in the boxes. I've tried High and low settings but the tach still goes off at 11000 rpms like a normal automobile. Of course the karts run about 21000 or 22000 rpms. Can ya help a brother out?...lol
Thank you,
Graveyard
hello,
i am not sure to well understand...( i am not english) but if you just need to send data to your tachometer at 22.000 RPM you can try
Simhub>Arduino>Gauge and select 22 RPM and 1 cylinder for kart
hope this is what you are looking for... see attached picture but in french...
edit: may be no need 1 cylinder; it depend of your tachometer indeed...
Thank you Sgeg,
What I'm talking about is an "override" area that is enabled after the game starts up. It has a drop down choice of every car in the game including the karts. The karts are the only one that revs that high so I would rather leave my initial settings alone.

ok i have better understanding now
you can do it in simhub:
first select your game after select "car setting" tab on the left
and on "setting by car" select your kart and check RPM max, at this point your can add the max RPM just for this vehicle
enjoy
@sgeg Thank you, I thought I tried that but I will do that again.
Have a nice weekend!
Sgeg,
tried all that stuff again with no luck. Must be something to do with just the karts. anyway, I found a 3 way slider switch on the back of my tach.
Surprisingly enough, that fixed my problem. The switch has 3 settings....center is normal. For instance, center is setup for normal cars, if you were at 4000 rpms that shows 4000 rpms, if you switch to one direction, the 4000 shows up as 8000 rpms, if I go to the other setting of the switch at 4000 rpms it shows 2000 rpms. Crazy me, I've been looking for the manual for this tach for months online. I found one close but not the exact one I have but it showed a switch on it. I looked on mine and it was there....problem solved. Lol, I was getting ready to open it up and cut the wire to the alarm.
Have a nice weekend
