Trouble with Random button pushes

I have been using a wheel that I 3d printed and assembled myself. A few days ago when I plugged it in and started racing with it I experienced random button pushes.  Could it be this be the result of bad soldering of the wires to the Arduino Pro MICRO?  The weird thing is that it was working fine up until a few days ago and now will randomly trigger button pushes.
