How can I assign unique SimHub settings for each of my PC’s 2 Windows user accounts? Should I install SimHub in a separate folder for each user?
Hi indeed you will need a separate install folder for each one, simhub embeds most if not all settings right in the program folder so it can be portable and reduce risks of conflicts with uncontrolled folders, sync software etc ..
@admin5435, the installation doesn’t allow me to override the default installation folder. Please advise.
As an alternative to separately installing SimHub for each Windows user account, could I have some SimHub event trigger a change of the shaker profile and overlay layout based on the Windows user or game player name?
Or maybe I could write a startup routine for each user that would first edit the underlying SimHub file(s) that control which shaker profile and overlay layout is active, and second start SimHub? I would just need to know which SimHub file(s) to edit.
