My Virus scanner (Eset) detected the following threat.
Deleted the file and blocked Simhub.
Does anyone know if this is terminated when using the todays update (8.2.3)?

This is unfortunately a false positive. The DLL is indeed an injector used to add telemetry data to monster games (NASCAR ...) , https://github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/SimHub-Troubleshootings#simhubexe-disappears-or-antivirus-detects-simhub
The DLL is the same version as many releases ago in the latest release. It should not change for a while so do not hesitate to report it to you antivirus vendor so they can fix their database.
Of you are not using any monster games you can simply skip the alert, it will only prevent those particular games to work.
I am using Simhub only for Iracing
