I installed Win11 Beta on my PC with Simhub if you are using multi-channel audio for shakers, Win11 doesn't seem to have a way to select Quadrophonic sound. Cant find the settings and the internet doesnt seem to know yet.

Not only Win11, Win10 too! And now I have a new MB, Gigabyte B550 Auros Elite V2, which I believe has a different audio chip then my previous MB. With the previous I had this problem too and could solve it by installing an older Realtek v2.80 patched driver. But with this new MB it gives an hardware failure, so that sucks! The stupid thing is that when I play a movie with DD sound it does give me 6 channels, but the problem is that in the audio settings you cant set a default format for 6 channel output, only 2 channels are listed. But if you test DD & DTS under supported formats then it also works.

So maybe Simhub should somehow take more control over the audio, like windows mediaplayer apparently does.

I asked gigabyte support for some help on this too. But probably they will say that the issue is with Simhub

Seems like I was able to fix it by manually installing the driver.  Installing it through the setup brought me into an endless loop of setup starting over after the first reboot. As if Windows installed the current driver already before setup could continue.  The Realtek v2.8 somehow didnt work but I found v2.71 here https://www.guru3d.com/files-get/realtek-hd-audio-driver-download,8.html and then just used the Win64 folder. You really must select the driver "from disk". Then when selecting win64 folder it shows a list with all drivers. Top one worked for me. Although Simhub now only sees 4 channels iso 6. But hey, the 4 shakers work so its fine with me 🙂
