Allow Custom serial device Setting panel slider value changes by Update message Javascript

My settings drive hobby servos to tension a harness based on acceleration properties rescaled by slider setting values.

To avoid clipping, if/when product of scale setting and acceleration property values exceeds servo limit, it would be great if that slider setting value could be changed by Update message Javascript.
