May I ask why the phone is connected with USB-C to the pc? That doesn't really make sense to me, perhaps some reason I'm not aware of. You could try to

  • Remove the usb-c
  • Go on wifi
  • If the wifi signal is weak, make sure your router transmits 2.4Ghz (not 5Ghz)

  • Alternatively you could also test: in SimHub go to Dash Studio > Look for Lovely and click on the Start button > then choose Windowed.
  • Now play the game and have the dash somewhere on your screen.
  • Dashboard performance good on PC? Then the issue is on the phone's side.
  • That can be the connection, the phone's cpu, the fact that when it's cable connected other 'stuff' is happening on the background, etc. PS for the test don't use Phone Link and other linked/synced applications.

@botmeister mine was doing the same using a simcore ds5 dash it’s nothing to do with cable going into a pc I think maybe the last update could of had a bug?

That is indeed possible. But just to make things clear: an Android phone connected to a PC with an USB-C cable, is not the same situation as a DDU connected to the pc with any USB type. The first one runs an operating system with networking functionality, the other one is just a monitor.

You both could try to reinstall Simhub, heard some more people about performance issues since the last update. Had some (other) strange stuff myself as well, after reinstall no issues.

@botmeister yeah I get that it’s completely different I’m just saying it’s the same problem with two different methods means it’s simhub related there was an update yesterday so I’m hoping it will be ok now
