so im building my own wheel and im gonna use neo pixels for rev and flag lights so one row of 15 and 2 rows of 3
do i connect them all together ? or in 2 groups? flag and rev?
also how much mA will those neo pixels use…. i like to connect them all to the same pin becease i almost come short of pins on my mega

Neo pixels uses 20ma per led max so much lower in real conditions as it's almost never white nor full brightness.

Thx allot dude... gonna be a complicated project, but they definitely need to be connected onto 5v
I’m planning on using power from wall socket to my Arduino.... I keep reading forums and the one says I’m able to do only 500 mA with Arduino the other one then says you can do up to 1A so what’s true ?
If you go through the barrel plug you will be limited by the 5v 500ma regulator indeed , you can simply power the various devices using the power plug 5v as described here https://github.com/SHWotever/SimHub/wiki/Arduino--Setup#powering-considerations
