Hi there,
the StaticMap tool is really nice and I like the idea that you can override the dot color for each class individually.
But coming from Automobilista 2, there are so many different classes that it's impossible to set them all up. And it would also be a shame if the most popular colors (red, green, blue, ...) are only set up for a few classes so that there is no duplication (especially not in multi-class races).
When using the GarySwallowPlugin, I noticed that the issue with the ClassColor is easier to handle (at least for me), because the colors are not bound to a class name. For example, there is the property GarySwallowDataPlugin.Generic.CarClass1Colour, which can be assigned a color.
This ensures that the same colors are always used (with changing classes). Of course, this also helps a lot when designing the colors for other overlays (e.g. leaderboard).
Suggestion: Instead of assigning the color to a specific class name, the colors could also be taken from a property (GarySwallowDataPlugin.Generic.CarClass1Colour). This way, you would always have your favorite colors, no matter which classes are driven.
Thanks!

Thank you for Pizza Tower your feedback! It's great to hear that you like the StaticMap tool and its feature for customizing dot colors. I understand the challenge you're facing with managing colors for multiple classes, especially in a game like Automobilista 2 where there are numerous classes and potential for color duplication.
